Wow, I had no idea it was so easy to break into locked homes. Thank you so much for all this good information! I’m going to get the solar driveway alarm and the door rails asap.
Ah that brings back memories with all the old lock picking techniques (rake vs diamond). Had my "Pick License" at one time way back when that was required to own them. For homemade picks definitely go with the hacksaw blade for pick & tension tool. I've tried the paper clip and other wires but hacksaw blades are best IMHO. I hadn't thought of using an electric toothbrush as the "pick gun" but yea I can see that working easily.
The vast majority of breakins are not lock pick based. Unless you consider a crowbar and size 10+ boot picks LOL.
