True story.
When I was around 8 years old, me and a friend were playing in the street. It was a side street, with very little traffic and a slow speed limit, so it wasn’t uncommon for us neighborhood kids to play street hockey, have sprinting challenges, or water gun fights in the street. That day it was just me and my friend, and we thought nothing of it when a van approached.
As customary, we moved to the side just enough to let the vehicle pass, when suddenly and out of nowhere, the driver door flew open and the driver grabbed my friend, and tried to pull him into the vehicle.
My friend started screaming bloody murder, and I ran to him, and started pulling at him, screaming as well. Then, suddenly as it started, the driver let him go, quickly slammed his door shut and sped off.
An adult neighbor witnessed the commotion, but by the time he got to us, the van was speeding off down the road.
I don’t remember much after that, other than the MPs showed up and asked us questions, and I believe they shut the entire base down looking for the guy. Being dumb kids, we went right back to having our water gun fight in the street.
I don’t know what happened to the guy.
There’s a lesson here. It’s about resistance. Because sometimes, anything is better than nothing, and if two skinny 8 year old kids can drive off an adult who’s trying to force one into a van, then you can resist as well… and you too can win.
Our collective histories are filled with stories of resistance, and complaint people are either the villains or the victims in the end. Our heroes, thought it better to die free than live as a slave.
Some in house graphics. Printer go brrrrrrr…..
We really like the black and white, we think it matches all types of colors. No reason, just an observation.
Be malignant.
Metastasize the system.
Terminally fatal.
As a reminder, all in house graphics posted to this Substack are free for all to use. Print, make stickers, make flyers, make into shirts…we don’t care.
Just resist.
Apes together strong.
People can't resist if they don't even realize they are being dragged into a van. That's how we got here.
